Advanced Welding Skills and Principles combines practical application and welding theory to build on fundamental welding skills and principles. The course covers various processes, including Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), advanced Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), along with other advanced welding processes. Students gain the necessary skills and have the opportunity to certify in the AWS D1.5 (SMAW) unlimited thickness certifications in all positions. Hazard identification and safe work practices are essential elements of this course.
