Program
Lecture Hours 2 Lab Hours 2 Credits 3

Plein Air Art is for both beginning artists and artists who want to improve their skills. Participants explore our beautiful North Country with an artist’s eye. This course requires gallery exhibits to view and discuss “Plein Air Art,” focusing on Impressionist style, as well as the styles of the White Mountain School and the Hudson River School. Students  spend time developing skills with a variety of mediums and go on location to create works of art.  Through this class, students develop an appreciation for art.
